We resume our adventure through Cantabria.
In this new stage we will try to give you ideas when visiting Cantabria and make the most of your time.
We start by encouraging you to enjoy the chupinazo and big week of Santander. Ten days of festivities with hundreds of street activities, 70 concerts, a daytime fair.
Everything will begin on Friday the 20th at 1:00 p.m. with the daytime Fair, stalls of pinchos that will be distributed throughout the city from Sardinero to the bullring. In each of them you can taste typical delicacies of the region's gastronomy.
If you want to be in tune with the city, pick up your blue scarf and dress up to see the parade of Gigantillas and bullfighting clubs that will parade through the center of the city to reach the town hall where at 9:30 p.m. the starting signal will be given with the "chupinazo", beginning of the festivities...
One of the things that stands out in our big week is music. The concerts in the Magdalena field, the concerts on the portico, the novelty of this year: Music session, DJs in each square of the city with different styles from funky to swing or salsa.
And what can't be missing from any party? Well, a good Circus show.
I propose a good plan: afternoon at the circus, enjoy Raul Alegria's Vintage show, some pinchos at the daytime fair at Parque de Mesones and, of course, end the day with a dose of adrenaline at the fairs.
A good plan to enjoy a few days in Cantabria without forgetting to take a swim in our fantastic beaches in our region.
