The III European Festival of Magic and the Visual that will take place in Santander from April 20 to 22, will feature more than 20 internationally famous magicians who for three days will fill the streets of Santander with "illusionism, imagination and creativity."
The Festival will begin on Friday at 9:00 p.m. in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Another square, Porticada, will host the "'Magic Tent" on Saturday and Sunday where performances of magic, humor and balance will take place by Jeremías Balu, Pedro Miró, the Comedian and balloon twisting specialist Jean Philippe and Mag Gerard with his 'Suitcase of Dreams'. Both on Saturday and Sunday, parallel to the tent, there will be various "Street Magic" shows from 12 to 7:30 p.m., in which several magicians will perform their acts and performances in the Plaza de la Catedral, the Pereda Gardens or the Pombo Square where the Magic Flea Circus will be located.
As in previous editions, the Festival will hold two galas focused on magic. The first, "Magia de Cerca", will be held on Saturday, April 21 at the Café de las Artes at 6:30 p.m. The second gala, focused on the most spectacular magic, will have, on this occasion, two screenings at the Festival Palace; one on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and another on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
The "best magicians in the world at the moment" will participate in this gala, as stated by the Festival director, who announced that the Gala will be full of surprises with circus and theatrical touches from start to finish and with shows that are very difficult to see in Spain. .
The Grand Gala will feature the presence of the Korean An ha Lin and his "exquisite card manipulation", Jeroma Murat (France) and his "Living Statue", the world prize for comic magic Great Kaplan (USA), Arnó ( France) and its visual magic with exotic birds, Yunque (Spain) and the great illusions and Raúl Alegría who will act as master of ceremonies.
